Athletic Therapists have a very similar skill set to Physio therapists. They are able to treat acute and chronic injuries in a clinical setting or field side. Athletic Therapy is a fantastic compliment to the injury rehabilitation work that we do at Live Well Active Therapy
Ontario Athletic Therapists are well-trained allied healthcare professionals with a well-defined scope of practice focused on the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and concussions
1. To become an athletic therapist in Ontario, you need a bachelor's degree in sport therapy or a degree in health sciences with a specialization in sports injury management
2. The Ontario Athletic Therapist Association (OATA) is an independently incorporated, not-for-profit organization that provides leadership and support to the Athletic Therapists practising and studying in Ontario
Pelvic Floor Therapy - An external approach
At Live Well Active Therapy, we understand how crucial pelvic health is to your quality of life. Laser Therapy
